Kanchanaburi (Thailand) Trip

This historical black iron bridge, "Death Railway" over the River Kwai was the target of allied bomding during 1945 (World War II). The railway was built by prisoners of war (POWs).

I took a 1hr train ride along part of the railway from Tha Kilen Station to Nam-Tok Station.

Along the railway trip, I saw some beautiful cows and crops.

This is Khwae Noi River, western part of Thailand, a 4-hour distance from Bangkok.

I took a short long-tailed speedboat trip along the unforgettable Khwae Noi River, surrounded by the unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery.
